Jeff Watson

Chairman

Jeff Watson is currently representing SK Capital Partners on two of their portfolio company Boards; Apotex and Woodstock Sterile Solutions.

Mr. Watson brings over three decades of experience working in the healthcare industry primarily in corporate roles at Apotex, where he was instrumental in significant transformational business growth, including international market expansion and global partnerships. He most recently served as the President and CEO of Apotex from 2018 to 2023.

Mr. Watson has almost a decade of corporate governance experience, having served on numerous boards, including as a Board member and Chair of the Association for Accessible Medicines (AAM); Chair of the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association (CGPA); a former Chair of the US Healthcare Distribution Alliance’s (HDA) knowledge partner, the HDA Research Foundation; and in 2021, he became a member of the first-ever CEO Advisory Committee for the International Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (IGBA), comprised of thirteen multinational organizations. Mr. Watson is currently a member of the Board of Directors for TruLeaf Sustainable Agriculture and CareRx.

Kevin Dalton

Director

Kevin Dalton has over 20 years of capital markets and investment banking experience. Mr. Dalton concluded his investment banking career as Vice Chairman, Head of Investment Banking at Desjardins Securities. Prior to joining Desjardins, Mr. Dalton worked at Blackmont Capital, a full-service investment dealer, first serving as Managing Director, Head of Investment Banking, and then moving onto the role of President. Mr. Dalton spent 14 years in the investment banking division of CIBC Capital Markets, where he specialized in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors, and served as Managing Director, Head of Canadian Diversified Investment Banking. He began his career at The Hathaway Corporation, a Toronto-based consulting firm that provides clients with expert financial advice on a variety of disciplines, including valuations, fairness opinions and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Dalton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.

Raffaele (Ralph) Desando, CPA

Director

Ralph Desando has been a director of the Company since November 2019. Mr. Desando is Managing Director of Private Investments at Yorkville Asset Management, and has been with the company since its inception in 2010. He is responsible for leading Yorkville’s strategic initiatives to provide clients access to investment opportunities in high quality Canadian healthcare companies. Having served on multiple boards, Mr. Desando has guided clients with their ongoing acquisitions, estate transfers and divestitures. Mr. Desando’s background in tax, completing the in-depth tax program from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA), as well as assisting the institute with its tax program as a facilitator, has provided him with the background to develop efficient tax strategies, investment vehicles and acquisition structures. Mr. Desando was an instructor at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies in the area of credit and market risk management. He has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council Compensation Fund, and as Chair of its Investment Committee. He is currently a member of the Southbridge Healthcare LP Investment committee.

Keith L. McIntosh

Director

Keith McIntosh has over 30 years of executive management experience in the pharmaceutical equipment industry and the seniors healthcare sector.  Mr. McIntosh currently serves as an advisor to Yorkville Asset Management. Mr. McIntosh was previously the President and Chief Executive Officer of Southbridge Care Homes from 2011 to 2020, during which time he led the company through several acquisitions to become the 5th largest long-term care provider in Ontario.  Prior to his  role at Southbridge, Mr. McIntosh was the President and part owner of Quadro Engineering which designed and manufactured pharmaceutical and fine chemical process equipment for global supply.  Mr. McIntosh has sat on various boards and is the current Chairman of Conestoga Crest which is a not-for-profit provider of seniors housing.  Mr. McIntosh has his Chartered Manager designation and is a member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.

Bruce Moody

Director

Bruce Moody is a seasoned executive with over 38 years of experience that has spanned the specialty pharmacy, retail pharmacy and food sectors. Presently, Mr. Moody serves as the Founder and CEO of Moody Holdings Inc., a private holding company that actively invests in various companies in both Canada and the U.S. In 2006, Mr. Moody founded the Remedy Group of companies, including Remedy’sRx Specialty Pharmacy, which was purchased by CareRx in May 2020. Prior to founding Remedy’s, Mr. Moody was the Senior Vice-President of Operations for PharmaPlus Drugmarts and before that, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Pharmasave Drugs. Mr. Moody has a history of supporting various philanthropic activities.

Maria Perrella

Director

Maria Perrella has over thirty years of progressive financial experience. Today, she serves as a director and Audit Chair of Argo Blockchain PLC, a cryptocurrency mining company (LON:ARB, NASDAQ:ARBK). More recently, Maria served as the Chief Financial Officer of MDA, a Canadian-based international space mission partner, and the previous twelve years at ATS (TSX:ATA), a global automation company with 4,500 employees operating over 20 divisions in 6 countries. Her various roles in complex, project based businesses serving the Life Sciences, EV, Transportation, and Consumer end markets have allowed her to develop skills in financial and strategic planning and operations, while cultivating top notch financial leaders and co-leading profitable growth. Her over twenty years as a Chief Financial Officer have provided her with extensive experience in strategic corporate finance, P&L management, international M&A, restructuring, executive compensation and governance and compliance. Maria holds a Bachelor Business Administration degree from York University and is a CPA.

Puneet Khanna

President and Chief Executive Officer

With over 20 years of experience in the pharmacy and senior care sectors, Puneet joined CareRx in November 2020 as Senior VP of Corporate Development and subsequently held positions as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer before being appointed as President and CEO. Prior to CareRx, he was the Chief Executive Officer of MED e-care Healthcare Solutions Inc., a global software-solution provider within the long-term and chronic care sectors. Puneet’s experience also includes more than ten years in executive leadership roles at Medical Pharmacies (part of which was acquired by CareRx in 2021) and MediSystem Pharmacy. Puneet is a registered pharmacist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto.
